About Us

Walker Mill Community Development Corporation is an extension of the Walker Mill Baptist Church which is an institution that has been stabilizing the community and the citizens for decades in Prince George's county Maryland. Led by the vision of Dr. Vandy Kennedy who lives by the principles of live, learn and love.

A church that encompasses the WMCDC and the No Excuse boxing gym recently awarded the nation's #1 Boxing gym.

This institution has developed projects as well as leaders in the community as it has become a pillar and an example of what can be done when you have a relentless love and passion for helping others. The recent partnership and collaboration with the Black and Hispanic Nutrition Initiative (BHNI) has positioned WMCDC for future projects and Community initiatives across the country.
