Today, the work of Dr. Kennedy
and the Walker Mill Development
Corporation continues by
establishing new initiatives to
meet the community’s needs. This
includes the establishment of a
community garden to address
food insecurity combat obesity
and restore a sense of value and
belonging in urban P.G. county. Another initiative is the No Xcuse Boxing Gym, allowing the youth of P.G. county to focus their energy on healthy, competitive boxing and training instead of getting into trouble on the streets.
